About Lilit
Communication with conviction. Since 2008.
Lilit combines precise strategy, academic foundations and intensive practice. Marietta Gädeke supports people who carry responsibility, show conviction and want to act persuasively under pressure.

Founder & communication expert
Marietta Gädeke turns complex situations into clear action.
As a German debating champion, executive coach, master trainer and entrepreneur, Marietta combines rigorous argumentation with warmth and a deep understanding of different perspectives.
She studied English, media studies and business administration at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Université de Bourgogne in Dijon, completing her master’s degree with a grade of 1.3. Since 2008 she has trained and advised executives, researchers, political decision-makers and international teams.
Her experience ranges from the automotive industry and the German armed forces to universities, associations and political organisations. In major international projects she led teams of more than 150 people and events with up to 1,400 participants.
For me, a culture of debate means being firm on the issue, respectful in contact and courageous enough to shape conflict productively.

The story behind the name
The apple represents insight and persuasive power.
Lilit appears in traditions from different cultures that reach back thousands of years. The Lilit story presents an independent figure with free will, a clear voice and the power to initiate change through words.
The apple became the symbol of Lilit Kommunikation because it connects insight with persuasive power. Good communication identifies the decisive point, formulates a clear message and moves people to act.
This story also shapes Lilit’s commitment to female leadership and fair spaces for debate. People should be able to represent their position in their own voice, regardless of status, volume or background.
The Lilit promise
Collaboration with professional substance and a human fit.
Every format is developed around the specific occasion, the people in the room and the desired impact.
Individually designed
Objectives, group size, experience and organisational context determine structure and methods.
Current and well-founded
Insights from communication research, people development and intercultural research inform the work.
Clear and reliable
Transparent proposals, thorough preparation and professional delivery build trust.
Designed for lasting impact
Practice, feedback and concrete next steps bring learning into everyday work.
The Lilit methodology
Think, test, use feedback, act confidently.
Lilit formats alternate between concise expert input and active exercises. Participants’ examples, ideas and knowledge feed directly into learning, connecting new concepts to existing experience.
Methods are chosen around the objective, group size, hierarchy, age, experience and cultural background. A transparent process explains why an exercise is used and the practical benefit it offers.
Strategic empathy
A change of perspective creates room for action.
Strategic empathy combines a clear goal with precise understanding of the other person’s values, interests and resistance.
Behavioural economics and cognitive research show how strongly intuition, experience and attitudes shape decisions. Understanding these influences helps you assess arguments, shape effective messages and find workable paths through conflict.
